"Intuitive massage therapy is a therapeutic process that encourages self-discovery and wellness. This type of therapy utilizes hands on therapeutic massage techniques to restore or balance the flow of energy within the body. Centuries of wisdom from Eastern philosophers have taught us that just as our bodies have a physical anatomy, we also have an “energy anatomy.” Disturbances within the energy fields in our body can have a negative effect on our overall health and trigger any number of adverse physical and emotional symptoms. An energy blockage can manifest itself in many forms, ranging from chronic or acute pain to emotional disruptions" . -From Seeker's Passage
Intuitive Massage is a general term for a holistic healing practice that encompasses a wide variety of nuances.  I was introduced to one version by a friend of mine who worked professionally as a massage therapist and then independently as an Intuitive Massage Therapist.  She admits how she struggles deciding on what to call her healing specialty, deciding Intuitive Massage is the closest fit.
My inuitive massage experience included gentle hands on massage techniques, moving and processessing energy flow and blocks, and channeled messages of healing and comfort from non-physical spirit guides and divine entities.   The  process was sometimes intensely emotional.  Other times it was relaxing and serene.  Everytime it was beautifully beneficial.
